Izziana Image supports Fitted for Work

Do you have clothes in your wardrobe that you no longer wear or need? If YES we have a great solution for you.

Fitted for Work is a national not-for-profit organisation that works with many women who face major obstacles in securing employment.  Many women experience difficulty returning to work after spending time raining children, or after a long period of illness. Others find themselves as the breadwinner following a seperation, relationship breakdown, or a death of a partner. A common obstacle for these women is not having appropriate clothes to wear to a job interview - a situation where making a good impression is vital. Fitted for Work provides a free, personalised fitting service. Fitted for Work is able to function thanks to the generous donations of work-appropriate clothes, shoes, hand bags and other accessories.

Izziana Image and Baraka Women

We are very excited to be working with two Muslim ladies, Kath and Eisha who are from Baraka Women www.barakawomen.com.au. They both experienced the challenge of finding modest yet stylish clothing for women that still makes you feel beautiful and confident. They solved this problem by starting their own clothing line. They aim to create pieces that are simple, easy to wear, beautiful and comfortable with the freedom to add your personality.

Like Kath and Eisha, we share the same passion in assisting women to look and feel their very best regardless of where you are from or what your background is. We are great believers that image plays an important part in our overall happiness and confidence and all women like to look beautiful.

As we share many of the same goals, we have aligned with Baraka Women to assist women and increase their confidence. We ran a styling session to show women how to use different clothes items to create different outfits and most importantly showing women how to love who they are. One of the great things about the Baraka clothing is that it is relevant for both Muslim and non Muslim women and translates across different cultures.

For A CURE

Angie Cleone established this public trust for Australians to support Cancer Stem Cell Research. Australia’s foundation For A CURE.
Countless research literature from all over the world seems to be prompting an alternative view to cancer, as fundamentally a stem cell problem. Many scientists suggest it as being THE QUICKEST WAY TO LEAD TO A CURE.

But what they need are the funds required to mount an all-out assault. For A CURE is dedicated to providing this funding. Laboratories and researchers across the nation will benefit directly from Event Buddies For A CURE fundraising efforts.

For A CURE gives grants to researchers that work on cancer stem cell projects specifically and to expedite research breakthroughs. http://www.foracure.org.au
